Anonymous asked: I've been drumming for around two years and just recently got in a band. Now I need to come up with orginal content, but everything I make tends to sound the same as something I've previously done. Any tips on how to overcome this?
That’s always a tough problem, especially depending on the style you play. the best advice I can give is to try and listen to some other drummers who play in a similar style to see what they do, and some drummers who sound nothing like you, and try andĀ implementĀ some of that. always be sure to think about what you play before you play it, really listen to the song and figure out what your role is within it
